Bengaluru
Mumbai and Navi Mumbai
Chennai
Delhi NCR, Gurugram and Noida
Pune
Hyderabad
Ahmedabad
Kochi
Telangana

Bengaluru leads the hiring scenario, with open roles for BIM Modellers, BIM Technicians, Senior BIM Coordinators and BIM Architects.

What skills do employers actually want?

Start with the basics that almost every listing asks for. It includes command over softwares and workflows. Then you can build on top of them. Here is what employers demand:

Autodesk Revit
AutoCAD
BIM modelling
Drawing and documentation
BIM standards and workflows

Navisworks Manage for clash detection
Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Civil 3D
Dynamo
Revit MEP
Synchro or 4D to 5D scheduling
BIM coordination

To put this in perspective, a recent BIM Coordinator opening in Delhi NCR asked for Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks and ACC, along with 3 to 5 years of experience. A Senior BIM Coordinator role at WSP asked for Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Dynamo, Synchro Pro and Revizto. The more of these tools you know, the more roles open up for you.

What can you expect to earn?
